What's in the box?

Boxes contain 3 different teas (totaling between 30 to  50 cups of tea), a tea related product, and the story behind our theme, teas, and partners.

We scour the world of teas hunting for products that truly embody the Tea Hive spirit. Whether it's from around the corner or around the world, we want you to feel connected to each and every product you receive. That's why every box contains recipes, creative applications,  beautiful images, or lovely stories of where your tea comes from to keep you inspired!

FAQ

How often will I get this box?

A new box with a unique theme will go out once a month. Boxes can be purchased on a monthly, 3-month, 6-month, or yearly subscription basis.

What types of themes?


We’re hunting for blends that have never been exported, companies that embody the culture and feeling of a town or country, and teas that have helped define the trade. We aim to highlight the great variety in tea by curating  monthly collections showcasing flavors, cultures, plant origins, feelings, seasons, uses, and more.

What makes Tea Hive special?

All across the world small, local, and larger-regional tea companies have been growing and blending high quality products. Whether they’ve been around for centuries or just a few months, the variety out there is simply overwhelming. Tea Hive's curated collections will deliver our favorite teas, some famous and others you have never heard of, to your front door. It's not just tea that we're wild about here at Tea Hive. We're crazy about the whole experience and we aim to share that with our hive. 

Can I get just one box?

Of course! If you would like to try out our box or send one to a very lucky person  all you have to do is click the Give a Gift  button and choose which option you'd like. On the checkout page, click "This is a gift" box if you are sending it to someone else.  You can also purchase renewing subscriptions as gifts by clicking on the "become a monthly member" button and checking "This is a gift" at checkout.

Can I send a one-time gift that won’t auto-renew?

Absolutely! Click the "Purchase" button below the Gift section. Once selected you will also have the option to click the box for "Automatically renew this subscription". As long as you don’t click the “Automatically renew this subscription" box, your purchase won’t automatically renew. Make sure to enter your giftee's shipping address and not your own if you'd like us to send it to them directly.

How do I cancel?

We hope you never choose to leave the hive, but if you do, you can do so under the  account tab on our website.  Log in to your account and under the “Your Subscription(s)” section click the  “Edit” button. On the next page you can click “Cancel Subscription” (bottom left) or “Skip Next Renewal” (top right). After cancelling, you'll still receive any boxes you’ve paid for and then your subscription will end. Monthly subscriptions auto renew on the same day each month so it’s best to cancel before then if you don’t want to receive the next box. If you cancel your subscription after the billing cut-off date you’ll still receive the box you were billed for. If you have any questions, please email us at info@myteahive.com .

How often will I be billed?

If you have a month-to-month subscription you will be billed monthly two weeks prior to our shipment date. Please note: Due to the holiday season, our November and December billing and shipment dates are going to be slightly different. Cut-off dates and shipment dates for these months will be listed on our Order Boxes page.

What if I have a food allergy?

 Tea Hive doesn’t manufacture any of the products we send to you. All products in our boxes are manufactured by their respective brands. Please read and follow all product labels, packaging inserts, and manufacturer directions and warnings before using any product. It is your responsibility to review the ingredients to avoid allergic reactions or other side effects personal to you. Please contact us or leave us a note when you place your order and we'll do our best to work with you and your needs.
